Dr. Ryan Supler - Owner
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, Dip. Osteopractic, Cert. SMT/DN, BRM
Dr. Supler is a born and raised Clevelander.
His passion for physical therapy started early after growing up in his father's private practice, Michael M. Supler and Associates Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
He attended Saint Louis University where he received his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2012.
He returned home to the family clinic and worked there for 6 years before its eventual sale to a large hospital system. He became supervisor of that clinic and another for 4 years, but knew he wasn't helping people in the way he wanted behind the mountains of administrative work and insurance red tape.
In 2021-2022, Dr. Supler completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT), the most prestigious organization offering a fellowship program. Through this 1 year intensive program, Dr. Supler because certified in Spinal Manipulative Therapy and Dry Needling, as well as participated in and helped publish research.
In 2023 he started SOPT to get back to doing what he loves and does best: helping people get back to doing what they love most. He knew the "traditional" method of therapy wasn't cutting it, and that people want more. His goal is to give every patient a unique and rewarding experience with results that speak for themselves.
Dr. Supler has a beautiful family: his loving wife Nathalie, daughter Josephine, son Rocco, and chocolate lab Sherman.
He loves spending his free time with his family and watching his children grow. He's an avid (albeit average) golfer, sand volleyball player, and enjoys watching the Browns lose far too often...

Dr. Shanahan is also a born and raised Clevelander, having gone to St. Dominic's and Beaumont. She continued her higher education at Saint Louis University as well, with a bachelors in exercise science and went on to obtain her DPT in 2019. Her last clinical rotation was as a student under Dr. Supler, and she was eventually hired at his former clinic, so they have maintained a great working relationship for several years. She found her interest in working with female pelvic health at this clinic and received her level 1 certification through Herman and Wallace over 2 years ago. She has a particular passion for helping women safely return to regular exercise and activity postpartum, but treats many different pelvic floor and general orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Shanahan joined the SOPT team in August of 2023 to head the female pelvic health division. Dr. Supler knew how important and how underserved the female population is with their health issues. He knew that Regan was the perfect fit for SOPT and has been eager to bring her on in whatever capacity he could.
In her free time, Regan enjoys running and coaching girls lacrosse, and loves to spend time with her adorable corgi mix puppy, Scout!
